Army Wives 6.11 “Fallout” Review

This episode of the show was titled ‘Fallout’ and it worked well to conclude the mission to Africa that had taken a turn for the worse as far as the army were concerned as the lady that was left behind with the orphans escaped with some of them and was more than willing to recount how she was abandoned.

One of the major things that happened in this episode was David’s father showing up at Roland’s office. He and Joan had taken their time to pick what they believed to be the right child to adopt but he must have felt jolted when the boy’s dad came around. But Marcus Williams; the boy’s dad said that he only got to find out about his son. But he took offense that Roland assumed that he came there to fleece him.

And he seemed to be starting from a position if disadvantage because he already looks like the bad person. He did bring a warrant ordering for a DNA test but that was just normal. But they got to find out that he had served time. He had in fact been in jail for the past six years but it still looks like if they really want to pursue the issue he will still hold up and might even get his son back.

Denise is keeping a watchful eye on Frank who is more or less suffering in silence. She does not want to encroach because he seems to have barricaded himself in and she does not want to push. He went to apologize to the woman they left behind but her response was to spit in his face. This was the tipping point as far as talking to the wife was concerned. It was like opening the valve to let off the pressure that would have pushed him to start making some serious mistakes in other areas.

But Roxy was very pushy when it came to getting answers from Trevor. She was not happy with the one she got and was glad she did not get to hear more. Fans also got to see the things Jackie had to deal with at home and how it had left her marked as such. No wonder she was really interested in connecting with Denise as she would really need friends to handle her home which is the major battle field for her.

The Clarks have been on that dangerous road of disintegration for a long time and things don’t look like they will be getting better any soon with a husband that is bent on making the home hell.
